We offer two levels of service:

Publication
A top quality translation designed
to be sent to press worry-free. This should
be used on most occasions. It'll be translated
by a professional translator, proofread and
edited by a second, completely independent
translator and checked by us in-house.
Information
If your text is for information only,
doesn't have to be professionally edited and
doesn't need consistency of style and terminology,
then this might suit you better. Translations
for information can be turned around more
quickly and, because the proofreading phase
can be omitted, will be cheaper. |
Localisation
Translation is one of the steps of localisation. Localisation is the act of preparing your product or text for a local market or many markets (which is called "Internationalisation" or "Globalisation").

It might involve adjusting the obvious things like phone
numbers, currencies, measurements etc. or involve

translation
Back translation is
the act of translating something back into its original
language, normally as part of a quality or validation
process. It allows you to check that the translation
says what it should in exactly the right way and
hasn't been misunderstood by the original translator.
We're pleased to say that we are the preferred supplier of back translation for one of the world's largest medical research establishments and have masses of experience of back translation from all languages and even dialects.
Free translation
by computer
Free machine translation (MT), where a computer
effectively does the translation for you, is free
for a reason - it isn't very accurate. A free translation
like this might help you to get the gist of something
but we wouldn't recommend it for professional use
or for any job where an error might cost you money.
