eCOA Migration Quality Assurance Specialist (remote)

Remote eCOA quality assurance specialist (ad hoc assignments)

We’re hiring an eCOA Quality Assurance Specialist for ad hoc assignments to support in-house team during peak periods or larger projects.

A good chunk of our life sciences work runs through eCOA migration and screen reviews: we’ve helped move over 500,000 COA instruments across 340+ language pairs for some of the world’s largest pharma companies. Every one of those instruments needs to be exactly right, every time, and that’s the job we’re hiring for.

You’d be checking that clinical outcome assessments — questionnaires, diaries, patient training material — keep their meaning intact as they move from paper to platform, or from one platform to another, and from one language into many. It’s painstaking work, and it matters: get an instrument wrong and it’s not just a typo. It’s data researchers are relying on, and it’s a patient answering a different question to the one they were actually asked.

Why here

We’re independently owned, so projects get the attention they need rather than being pushed through a conveyor belt. You’ll know the projects you’re working on, the linguists doing the work, and the clients on the other end — not just a queue of tickets. There’s genuine scope to grow too, with room to move into broader eCOA project work or take on more client-facing responsibility.

What you’ll bring

– Experience quality-checking eCOA instruments (we’ll also consider the right candidate without it, and train you up)

– A sharp eye for detail and a methodical, consistent way of working

– Good organisation and the ability to juggle several projects at once

– A willingness to flag issues and actually follow them through

– Solid all-round IT skills — we’ll train you on the eCOA-specific tools

A degree in languages, translation, linguistics or similar is preferred, ideally with some interest in clinical research or healthcare.

If that sounds like you, send your CV to hr@geolanguages.co.uk.
