Assamese uses a great number of classifiers that are used to define different types of objects. Examples of classifiers would include objects that are flat, objects like flowers, objects that are found in small bundles etc.
“Jollywood” is the name given to the Assamese language movie industry, so called as it is based in Jyoti Chitraban, Assam.
