Quechua is a group of similar languages from South America and spoken mostly around the Andes region of South America. It is an official language in Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru, along with Spanish.

The language has a relatively robust 10 million speakers; however, there are very few written resources for Quechua which makes it difficult to learn and to preserve. It is considered an endangered language.
